My Obsession With Fallout

I've been playing Fallout 4 lately.

I remember trying to play Fallout 3 many, many years ago. I remember having a terrible time trying to immerse myself in it. It just couldn't be bothered to play it.

I tried again a couple years later while on active duty in Mississippi. This time, I pressed forward and found myself in a run down supermarket, with raiders and scavengers living there. I started to clear them out and suddenly found myself getting drawn in.

About 40 to 60 hours later (not all at once of course), I found myself finishing up the game and watching the credits roll. It was such a satisfying experience!

About two years later, Fallout New Vegas was released, and I ended up putting 100 to 140 hours into that game. And I loved every minute of it.

Fallout 4 is better than Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas combined in my opinion. I can see myself losing myself in that game.

I'm looking forward to it.

Time is going by too fast...

It seems the older I get, the faster time travels by...

I don't like it.

I read somewhere that your perception of time is relative to how long you've actually been alive. It makes sense when I think about it.

I wish that time would just slow down again, and not have to think that it's already November and that the year 2015 is almost over? It seems like it only began, and now it's already coming to a close.

I'm afraid that it's only going to get worse and worse.

Slow down....let me enjoy my short time on this earth a little more.

I still have so much I need to get done...
